The PST Board wish to provide the following update to their members:
When James Bord and Evan Sofer of Park Bench SFC LLC acquired our club at the start of the year, they purchased around 99% of the shareholding. This included shares held by Pars United CIC. So, with no longer having a stake in DAFC, PU CIC entered voluntary liquidation with income from the sale of its shares to be distributed to each of its shareholders on a pro-rata basis.

The liquidator has now concluded their business and calculated the amount to be distributed per share after fees and legal costs have been settled. Having been the largest shareholder in PU CIC, the Dunfermline Athletic Supporters Society, otherwise known as the Pars Supporters Trust, are to receive a significant five figure sum.

The PST Board has been considering various projects which could benefit from this windfall. We feel it’s important that whichever project these funds are spent on, it will be a fitting legacy to all those supporters who rallied to save our club in 2013 and contributed to putting the PST in the position it is in today.
